Summary

Onyx Vanguard is a single-player game. We don't create accounts and we don't collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location. Your game progress is stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account.

Data stored on your device

Your progress (gear, currencies, upgrades, cleared levels and settings) is saved locally on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, a copy is kept in your iCloud account (Apple's iCloud key-value storage) so it can be restored on your other devices. It is never sent to us. Using Settings → Reset progress in the game removes it from the device and from iCloud.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Apple Game Center, the game sends your best Endless wave, Arena trophies, knight power, highest Heat, best Boss rush, highest weekly Trial rung and earned achievements to Game Center so they appear on leaderboards. Game Center is operated by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; you can sign out or change who sees your profile in Settings → Game Center.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the game schedules reminders on your device (at most one a day, for example when your treasury is full). They are created on the device; no data leaves it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

To count how many people play, the app sends a random install ID (generated on your device, not linked to you), the app version and whether it is a test device to our own server about once a day. It contains no name, email, contacts, advertising ID or device ID, and we do not share it.

The game offers optional rewarded videos (for example "Double gold" or "Revive"). These are provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA, only if you allow tracking), IP address, coarse location derived from it, device and app information, and ad interaction data. On iOS you are asked whether to allow tracking; you can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you decline, ads are not personalised.

Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. How Google uses data from partner apps: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Players in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for their consent to ads through Google's consent message when the game first starts, and can change that choice in Settings → Ad privacy choices.

The Commander's Seal and Vanguard's Favor skip every video.

In-app purchases (Apple and RevenueCat)

Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and to let you restore them; RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, the products purchased and transaction details. RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
